PASSED HORS D’ OEUVRES RECEPTION
A Passed Hors D’oeuvres Reception is typically one to two hours in duration, and is usually used for corporate and social networking to precede another event. Servers carry the presentation on trays with a variety of eight to twelve small bites that are served to your guests. Wine and sparkling water are also offered to the guest from trays. Bar service ranges from beer, wine and soft drinks to a variety of full bar options. Standing cocktails are generally used to promote socializing and networking as well as bistro style seating.
COCKTAIL RECEPTION
A cocktail reception is a special event designed to be a significant alternative for a full service dinner. While substantial food is served it is not intended to serve as a meal. Guests are generally served a selection of passed hors d’oeuvres and selection of displayed appetizers and food stations. Cocktail receptions usually last for two to three hours and often include a short presentation by the host. A cocktail reception also uses cocktail tables and bistro style seating.
SEATED DINNER
A seated dinner is a special event designed to mimic a restaurant environment and experience. A seated dinner usually begins with an hour of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and then the guests are seated in a custom dining room prepared specifically for your event. More staff is necessary for a seated dinner because of the numerous details required to prepare and serve guests a full course diner. Bar service is generally suspended temporarily during the dinner service while wines are served and resume following dessert. All options for bar service are available for seated dinners. Table linens may range from you choice of solid colored cloths to specialty options.
BUFFET STATIONS
Buffet Stations tend to be less formal, and a great option for most social events. Buffets are often used for wedding receptions, formal corporate functions and fundraisers. Staffed and freestanding buffets are stationed in various location with cocktail style seating to entice guests to explore all of the options that have been chosen for them.
